Key Landscape Features
Nature Exploration Zone
The nature exploration area incorporates winding pathways, balance beams, stepping elements, creek bed crossings and subtropical planting to encourage exploration and discovery. Children are provided with opportunities to develop balance, coordination and confidence through movement-based play experiences.
Water Play Environment
Custom water play elements were incorporated to provide sensory-rich experiences that support motor skill development, cognitive growth and social interaction. Natural materials and surrounding planting enhance the experience while creating comfortable outdoor spaces.
Feature Play Fort
A custom timber fort includes climbing elements, lookout platforms, slides, climbing walls and quiet retreat spaces beneath the structure. The design supports physical development while accommodating imaginative and social play.
Outdoor Learning & Yarning Circle
A dedicated outdoor learning space was incorporated using natural stone seating and gathering spaces. The area provides opportunities for group activities, storytelling, outdoor education and quiet reflection.
Productive Gardens
Raised produce gardens and arbour structures were designed to support farm-to-plate learning experiences and introduce children to gardening, sustainability and food production.
